Source file from MOSS map gpadm manipulated in Intergraph, exported to MOSS export, imported to ARC A. Update occurred in August 1988 that formally changed the district boundaries to the new district boundaries that were approved by the Regional and Washington Office in early 1998. The general idea was that districts should follow the fifth field watershed lines except where wilderness areas and monument boundaries would be in conflict. These areas were to reside in only one district. All of the monument was assigned to the Mount St. Helens District. Mt. Adams and Indian Heaven wilderness were entirely included in the Mt. Adams District.
