TRAILS:
.
IMPORTANT
NOTICE: Hikers, please do not push your journey beyond your
training, experience and equipment. Last year a dozen or more parties had to
have Search and Rescue come to get them when they got in to the snow too far.
Search and Rescue services are very expensive and rely heavily on volunteers.
Please remember that a cell phone is NOT one of the 10 essentials. See our trail
safety page for more information. Do not split up if you are traveling with
others.
The
new trail bridge at Triple Falls has been installed and is ready for use!
Many trails are now in the new wilderness.
There are not yet any "12-heartbeat" limitations in the new wilderness
area.

Pass accomplish last year in the Gorge? Find

Never leave valuables in your car.
Leave glove box open and empty. Take cell phones, wallets, garage door openers,
PDA's and purses with you. Do not stash items in your trunk, especially while
you are at the trailhead.
