Landscaping at this Forest Service office is designed and
maintained to model wildlife habitat in a business and residential
setting. Two different native habitats are shown: dry ponderosa
pine forest and moist quaking aspen wetland. The aspen wetland
was carefully created with plant species native to the area.
A tiny pond provides drinking water as a magnet for thirsty
animals in spring, summer, and fall.

blackbird, red
crossbill, pine
siskin, American
goldfinch, evening

Cassin's,
or house).
