ACCESS: From Maiden Lake Trailhead west of Davis
Lake.
DESCRIPTION: Trail begins from a trailhead at
end of F.S. Rd. 4664-100 and goes west to join the Pacific
Crest Trail (#2000) near Rosary Lake. This trail passes through
a lodgepole pine, mountain hemlock, and noble fir forest. About
2.5 miles from the trail head the Maiden
Peak Trail (#41.1) goes northward to summit of Maiden Peak.
FEE: No trailhead fees
LENGTH: 6.0 miles one-way.
ELEVATION (low): 5200 feet
ELEVATION (high): 6000 feet
SEASON: Summer-Fall
DIFFICULTY: Moderate
RECOMMENDED USES: Hiking, Horses, Mtn Bikes
PROHIBITED USES: Motorized Use
