ACCESS: From Crescent, 12.2 miles west on Rd. 61, then 10.4 miles north and west on Hwy. 58, then 1.9 miles south on Rd. 5810

DESCRIPTION: The huckleberry bushes, heavily forested character, and great fishing make this the most popular campground on the Crescent Ranger District. Shelter Cove Resort is only a short distance from Trapper Creek and provides a number of conveniences such as snack bar, boat rental, camping, and fishing supplies. Vegetation at Odell Lake is dominated by large Douglas fir, white fir, spruce, and hemlock typical of vegetation on the west side of the Cascades. This vegetation is present because the climate is more like that on the west side.

Vault toilet facilities are provided throughout the campground. The campground road is paved. Firewood is not provided, but can be gathered from the forest nearby. Boat launch ramp, loading dock, and limited day-use parking for boaters are provided.
