CURRENT CONDITIONS SEASON: April to December LOCATION: Located at the northeast corner of Davis Lake. NOTE: Due to the loss of campsites on Davis Lake because of the Davis Fire in 2003, this campground will be developed into a fee site with 25 campsites. ACCESS: from Crescent, 8.8 miles west on Rd. 61, then 10 miles north on Hwy. 46, then 0.25 miles south on Rd. 4600 850 ELEVATION: 4400 feet FACILITIES: Vault toilets are located in the campground. NO drinking water, NO Garbage Service, PACK IT OUT. Unimproved boat ramp. Very little traffic control is in place, and sites are poorly defined. Neither potable water nor garbage pick-up are provided. SITES: 6 individual campsites each have a table MAXIMUM SPUR LENGTH: 60 feet SPECIAL ACTIVITIES: Birdwatching, fly-fishing, sightseeing, and the lava flow are the main attractions at Davis Lake. Davis Lake is a fly-fishing only lake with speed restrictions.
