LOCATION:
about 5 miles south of U.S. Hwy. 26, off F.S. Rd. 12, near northern forest
boundary. From Prineville via Paulina approx. 92 miles (2¼ hours), via Mitchell
approx. 65 miles (1½ hours).
ACCESS: From Prineville take Post-Paulina Hwy (State Hwy 380) east 55 miles to Paulina; From Paulina, east on County Rd. 112 for 3.5 miles to Beaver Creek Road (County Rd. 113), turn north for 8 miles to Forest Rd. 42, Forest Rd. 42 north for 8 miles to Forest Rd. 12, Forest Rd. 12 north 17 miles to campground.
From Prineville to Mitchell on US 26, 13 miles east of Mitchell take Forest Rd.12 south 5 miles to campground.
From John Day, US 26 west to Dayville, 25 miles west from Dayville to Forest Road 12, south on Forest Rd. 12, 5 miles to campground.
DESCRIPTION: Shaded north aspect, mixed conifer forest. Trail #813 trailhead.
ELEVATION: 5100 feet
FACILITIES: tables, fire pits, gravel campsite spurs, vault toilet, NO potable water
SITES:
6 family sites, size & number of trailer sites limited (no waste dump).

ACCESSIBILITY LEVEL: Limited. Barriers within site. Toilet building has barrier-free design with short gravel approach path.
