Setting Alpine forest (Lodgepole and Jeffrey Pine, Red Fir); "saddle" surrounded by high peaks.  Adjacent to Highland Lakes .
Directions Highway 4 to Highland Lakes Road; follow road seven miles south to campground
Road Access Highland Lakes Road is narrow, steep and winding dirt route where safe travel speeds average 20 mph or less
