Economic Action
Economic Action Programs support rural forest resource dependent community planning, fire safety and economic diversification efforts.
Our responsibility
The Economic Action Program provides financial and technical assistance to rural communities to diversify and strengthen local economies through the use of natural resources.
Our goal
To provide leadership in working with people and communities to develop natural-resource-based opportunities and enterprises.
Our Clients
Local governments including cities, counties, tribal governments, non-profit economic organizations, resource conservation and development areas, resource conservation districts, fire safety councils and other partners.
