Announcement Beginning in 2009, Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) will begin a seismic retrofit project to strengthen the Crane Valley Dam at Bass Lake.  The project will require that lake levels be lowered ten feet from normal summer operations.  The project is expected to be completed in late 2010 or mid 2011. Setting Adjacent to Bass Lake. Area has dense pine, oak and cedar trees. Sites have good shade. Some camp sites are located on moderate slopes.
Directions From Highway 41, take Bass Lake turnoff (Road 222), head southeast approximately 3.5 miles to the Bass Lake CLM office. Continue approximately 2.75 miles to the Lupine Cedar Bluff Campground.

Campsite reservations are by specific site and can be made 240 days in advance and up to one day before arrival.  Contact the National Recreation Reservation Service at 1-877-444-6777 or click on the button to the left to book this campground now.

This campground has two separate listing, Lupine and Cedar Bluff. Cedar Bluff campground has sites 1-62 and Lupine has sites 63 through 112 (site 113 is first come first served no reservations).  Two night minimum on weekends. Three night minimum on holidays.

Special Check in at Bass Lake Campground office before proceeding to campground (located at west end of the lake near Recreation Point). California Land Management sponsors a variety of interpretive programs throughout the summer at several locations in the Bass Lake area. The scheduled programs are posted at the Bass Lake Office and at campgrounds throughout the Bass Lake area.
