Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area
Shasta Unit - Trails
Trails at Shasta Lake are open all year, but it is best to hike them
in the spring and fall.
Tips/ Suggestions: If you choose to hike these
trails in the summer, be sure and take plenty of water. Summer
heat is quite severe in this area and there is no drinking water
available.
Pets: Pets are allowed in the recreation areas unless
posted. They must be on a leash when in a developed site.
