Fishing - Lakes and Reservoirs


Listed below are lakes and reservoirs that anglers may find of interest on the Sequoia National Forest and Giant Sequoia National Monument. Activating a selection will provide information on fish species present, access, nearby campgrounds, and any special considerations regarding the site.

Jennie Ellis and Weaver are small lakes in the Jennie Lakes wilderness that provide trout fishing opportunities. The lakes are typically snow-bound into mid/late June. During years with heavy snow pack they may be ice covered and snow-bound into August. Weaver is a moderate day hike from the Big Meadows Trailhead. Jennie Ellis Lake is a more difficult hike from Stony Creek area.
