Live Oak Water Line Installation Project

printerPrintable Version

The purpose of this project is to provide local residents with a long-term reliable source of potable water that provides adequate quantity to meet demands and also meet water quality standards. This action is needed because the four wells currently providing water to the Ponderosa Pines and Mountain Shadow water systems (and their 87 residential connections)are deteriorating and no longer meet users’ demands, particularly in high demand periods. In addition, concentrations of arsenic are increasing and may pose serious health risks users as the capacity of the wells diminishes.
