Giant Sequoia National Monument Collaborative Planning
The final documents are in the works for Spring 2012. Here's an update to follow the process...

Firewood Permits
Firewood permits are available at all Forest Service offices. The public can purchase an 8-month firewood permit that can be used depending on weather conditions beginning April 1-November 30, 2010. Stop by any office for current updates, a forest map, instructions about woodcutting areas, and forest policies. The cost of the permit is non-refundable.
