Firewood Permits
Firewood permits are available at all Forest Service offices. The public can purchase an 8-month firewood permit that can be used depending on weather conditions beginning April 1-November 30, 2010. Stop by any office for current updates, a forest map, instructions about woodcutting areas, and forest policies. The cost of the permit is non-refundable.
