for the Final Environmental Impact Statement
that accompanies the Revised Land and Resource
Management Plans (Forest Plans) for the four
southern California national forests. The
new plans, which have been in effect since

Service (FS) has re-issued its Sept. 20,
2005, decision on land management plans for
the four national forests in southern California,
due to a technical error that was in the

New Forest
Service Handbook Supplements
A new directive was issued
in December 2005 by each Forest in order
to provide guidance for the delineation and
management of Riparian Conservation Areas
(RCAs). This direction is referenced for
use by each of the four new Forest Plans.
