   You may view maps of recreation areas where the sites are located by “clicking” on the site name. To print a map, first click on the PDF link at the top or bottom of the map.

Map Symbol Colors
	Brown symbols – A standard amenity fee is required, which may be paid by displaying any Adventure Pass or America the Beautiful Interagency Passport on the parked vehicle.
	Pink & Blue symbols – An expanded amenity or special use fee is required. These sites may be managed by the Forest Service, a concessionaire or special use permittee. These fees are usually paid on-site.
	High Impact Recreation Areas – You will find these areas designated on the maps. They are separately listed by name at the following link: High Impact Recreation Areas. Recreationists must display either an Adventure Pass or Interagency Pass on their parked vehicles in these areas, unless other fees apply (see site lists below).
Map Symbol Definitions
	Family Campground –If the campground symbol is pink the site requires a separate camping fee, and on-site fee payment facilities are usually provided. Interagency Senior & Access Passes apply a 50% discount on the camping fees. If the symbol is brown, any Adventure Pass orInteragency Pass may be used for payment of the camping fee. In Forest Service operated campgrounds, any Adventure Pass or Interagency Pass may be used to pay for a day-use fee – time limits are posted. Important – Camping Fees must be paid within 30 minutes of arrival at these sites.
	Group Campground – These sites usually require a separate fee or reservation.
	Picnic Area or Day Use Area – Fees are required, as listed below.
	Parking Area – Fees may be required, as listed below. If use limitations are present they are posted on-site.
	Boat Launch Ramp –The Adventure Pass or Interagency Pass is required for payment.
	Trailhead –The Adventure Pass or Interagency Pass is required for payment.
	OHV Staging Area –The Adventure Pass or Interagency Pass are required for payment on parked vehicles that do not display a California State OHMVR sticker.
	Interpretive Site - Fees are not usually required, except as posted.
	Information Site - Fees are not usually required, except as posted.
	Winter Sports Sites – These sites usually require a separate fee.
	Fire Lookout Tower – Fees may be required, as listed below.
	Target Shooting Area – The Adventure Pass or Interagency Pass is required for payment
	Observation site or Viewpoint – Fees are not usually required, except as posted.
	Amphitheater – Fees are not usually required, except as listed below.
	Fishing Area – Fees are not usually required, except as listed below.
	Wildlife Viewing Area – Fees are not usually required, except as listed below.
