Note: Site listings and Maps for some forests continue to be edited. changes in policy for where fees may be required are not immediately posted on this website. If in doubt, call ahead to the nearest Forest office.

They are separately listed by name at the following link: High Impact Recreation Areas. Recreationists must display either an Adventure Pass or Interagency Pass on their parked vehicles in these areas, unless other fees apply (see site lists below).
Map Symbol Definitions
Graphic showing a tent. Family Campground –If the campground symbol is pink the site requires a separate camping fee, and on-site fee payment facilities are usually provided. Interagency Senior & Access Passes apply a 50% discount on the camping fees. If the symbol is brown, any Adventure Pass orInteragency Pass may be used for payment of the camping fee. In Forest Service operated campgrounds, any Adventure Pass or Interagency Pass may be used to pay for a day-use fee – time limits are posted. Important – Camping Fees must be paid within 30 minutes of arrival at these sites.
