Beginning June 2006, persons who repeatedly fail to pay the Recreation Fees could receive citations. Camping Fees must be paid upon arrival at the site (within 30 minutes). Recreation Area use fees require display of the Adventure Pass or America the Beautiful Interagency Passes on the parked vehicle. The fine for a 1st conviction can be $100. Fines for subsequent convictions could be higher. Registered owners of vehicles may also be liable.
