<description>On May 19 at 3:15 p.m. at the Capitol building the State of Hawai'i Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), the Hawai'i Association of Conservation Districts (HACD), the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and U.S. Forest Service (USFS) will officially sign a Joint Forestry Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen cooperation for the delivery of forestry-related conservation assistance to private landowners and managers of the land.</description>

<description>The 2010 Sheep Fire began in Kings Canyon National Park as a lightning-ignited fire. The strike hit south of Cedar Grove and eventually spread onto the Giant Sequoia National Monument.
