Adaptive Management Areas are landscape units designated to encourage the development and testing of technical and social approaches to achieving desired ecological, economic, and other social objectives.
The purpose of this data collection effort was to compile updated land allocation-related data from individual units into a comprehensive data set that will reflect changes since 1994 and provide a more accurate depiction of current land allocations for the NWFP area.
2005 - (tlindemann, GDM) Data was reprojected from either UTM10/NAD27, UTM11/NAD27, or Albers/NAD27 to Albers/NAD83. Then the data was migrated into the geodatabase environment.
1/28/03 - (cclark, GDM) Mapjoin of the following forest coverages:
shf_ama95 (Shasta-Trinity - updated layer from forest - an erase was performed before the mapjoin to remove private lands using the Shasta-Trinity administrative boundary/ownership layer) kla_ama (Klamath - updated layer from forest) srfamas94_1 (Six Rivers - RSL Library version)
After the mapjoin an eliminate and some minor editing was performed to remove slivers created due to vertical integration errors.
