Upper Rush Creek Campground

Located 9 miles northeast of Adin on Highway 299 to Alturas. Campground sites are surrounded by mixed conifers providing welcome shade for the hot summer days. Rush Creek runs along the edge of the campground providing a relaxing atmosphere.

Season: Generally May - October

Facilities:

  • 13 RV and tent units available 
  • Picnic tables and fire pits at each site
  • Vault toilets
  • 14 day stay limit
  • Potable Water available
  • Road Conditions are fair  - not recommended for vehicles pulling trailers.
  • Limited garbage collection

Fees: $6.00

Services: The nearest food, gasoline, and restaurant are located in the town of Adin, California, which is approximately 9 miles southwest of the campground. The nearest 24 hour service and hospital are located in the town of Alturas, California.
