Lava Campground

This is an isolated, rocky, and dry area for camping.

Getting There: Leave west out of Adin on Co. Rd. #87 and go approx. 10 miles. Turn north on Co. Rd. #91 and go approx. 19 miles. Turn west on Forest Service Road #56 for approx. 11 miles. Take Forest Service Road 42N23 south and go approx. 7 miles to the entrance for Lava Camp.  

Elevation: 4,400 above sea level

Season: Generally May - October

Facilities:

• RV and tent units available/up to 32 feet
• Picnic tables and fire pits at each site
• Vault toilets
• 14 day stay limit
• NO Potable Water available
• Road Conditions are good
