Getting There: From the junction of Highway 139, and
Co. Rd. 97. Go approx. 18.5 more miles west on Co. Rd. 97
Elevation: 6,500 feet above sea level
Season: Generally July - October (Closed for Winter)

feet.
- Picnic tables and fire pits at each site.
- Vault toilets
- NO Potable water
- 14 day stay limit
- Fair road conditions.

The campground is located adjacent
to the Modoc Volcanic Scenic Byway.

Tulelake, Newell, and Tionesta.
- Modoc Backcountry Discovery
Trail:
If you have a sports utility vehicle take a trip along the Modoc
Backcountry Discovery Trail.
- Lava Beds National Monument:
is a great place to visit and learn
about the local geology and history.
