Fireline Safety Awareness for Hired Vendors

Hired Equipment Vendors

Beginning in 2011 all of the required annual classes for Fireline Safety Awareness for Hired Vendors(FSAHV) will be coordinated by the State Fire Marshall's Office of State Fire Training. Only State Fire Training can issue the Completion Cards that are required to be carried by Hired Equipment Operators.

The following operators must complete this course annually and have the SFT issued Completion Card in their possession at incidents:

Water Tenders Operators - Hired Vehicle Operators - Fallers - Mechanics - Heavy Equipment Operators (Dozers, Excavators, Masticators, Heavy Equipment Transports, Skidgines).

As classes are scheduled, dates and contact information to register in a class will be posted on the State Fire Training website (Title: Fireline Safety Awareness for Hired Vendors). The link below is to the schedule of classes at State Fire Training. This list will be continually updated as more classes are registered.
