Current Conditions: Campground Status
Important Notice: Roads and trails on the Eldorado are designated for wheeled motor vehicle travel. Vehicle travel off these designated roads and trails is prohibited. Maps and information is available on the Vehicle Travel Web page and hard copies of the maps can be obtained at one of our forest offices.
Current conditions of the developed campgrounds on the forest are listed here, by Ranger District. Note: When winter weather and storms occur, all sites are subject to closure without notice.

- Georgetown Ranger District
Note: "Closed by snow" means that the facility does not have a gate and access is controlled by Mother Nature.

Note: SEASON DAY USE PASS
A season day use pass is available for use at picnic areas and boatramps operated by American Land And Leisure for $65 on the Georgetown, Pacific and Placerville Districts. A Georgetown District only season day use pass is available for $30. Also, there will be free fishing days at Stumpy Meadows Reservoir the second Wednesday of every month in the summer.
