The Generation Green High School clubs started in 2000, in an effort to have year round activities involving natural resources, career opportunities, resume writing and college information. In cooperation with the Generation Green Program and the Central California Consortium USDA Forest Service, students are able to participate in activities in their communities. There are currently two GG clubs in the central valley, which are located at Reedley and Orange Cove High School. South Tahoe High School also has an active GG club. In 2010, the CCC plans to expand GG to new communities.
