Quinn Canyon Wilderness

The Quinn Canyon Wilderness is a maze of deep canyons and rugged peaks reaching to over 10,000 feet. Red volcanic rhyolite composes the lower canyons and gray limestone forms most of the peaks. There are many springs and a few year round streams. This area is very isolated and wild, a true wilderness experience. Several trails marked on maps have not been regularly maintained.

Directions

Access is via a network of dirt roads east of Nevada state highway 318, south of Lund. Four seldom maintained trails traverse the wilderness from east to west following intriguing canyons. There is a primitive campground and trail head at Little Cherry Creek. Forest Service road 410 divides the wilderness from the Grant Range Wilderness to North.
