Ward Mountain Campground
Located in the shadow of 10,800 foot Ward Mountain, the Ward Mountain Recreation Area and Campground are set amidst a Pinyon-Juniper landscape. Wildlife in the form of mammals and birds abound. The Recreation Area offers many hiking trails which are open to biking, hiking, horses, as well as, winter recreation activities.

White Pine County Museum has displays of the history of the area. The city of Ely has a mural tour with brochure.
