Location:

Fish Lake is located in south-central Utah along the Fishlake Scenic Byway (U-25)
35 miles southeast of Richfield via U-24 and U-25 (Open year-round)

20 miles northeast of Loa via U-24 and U-25 (Open year-round)

35 miles northwest of Loa via U-72 and U-25 (Open May - October, weather permitting)

8,900 feet

Memorial Day through Labor Day

Shower facility is located in the Mackinaw Campground.
Campers in any of the campgrounds can use this facility.

Dump station - Located at the Dr. Creek Campground.
Garbage bins - Located at the Dr. Creek Campground and along U-25 just south of the Bowery Creek Campground.
No electrical or sewer hook-ups.

Camping is limited to 10 days at:
Doctor Creek Campground
Mackinaw Campground
Bowery Campground
Camping is limited to 14 days at Frying Pan Campground.
Camping is limited to 60 days at Paiute Parking.
Twin Creeks Picnic Area is for day use only. Camping is not permitted.
ATVs are not allowed in the campgrounds.
Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

A 50% discount will be given on use fees for single sites only.

Reservable Sites:
Half of the campsites at Fish Lake are reservable.
All reservations are taken through the National Recreation Reservation Service.

Individual campsites can be reserved up to 240 days in advance.

Group facilities can be reserved up to 360 days in advance.

A reservation fee of $9.00 is charged for each site and is non-refundable.

A cancellation fee of $10.00 is charged on each site canceled.

Non-Reservable Sites:

Half of the camp sites at Fish Lake are available on a first-come first first-served basis. Reservations are not required for these sites.

Management:

The campgrounds are managed under special use permit by High Country Recreation. Campground hosts are located in each campground to answer any of your questions and to help you with any problems. For phone inquiries during the summer months, contact the area managers at (435) 638-1069.

Phones are located in each campground and at the private resorts.
