The Fishlake National Forest administers 1.7 million acres of plateau and mountain land in Central Utah and offers great opportunities to view scenery and wildlife. Campgrounds are available or just bring your equipment and camp throughout most of the forest. There are small streams and several lakes to "wet a hook." The winter recreation enthusiast will also enjoy ice fishing and snowmobiling

Most visitors view the Forest while traveling by vehicle. Two scenic byways and several backways traverse the Forest offering splendid vistas. The Paiute ATV Trail is a 238-mile loop with an additional 550 miles of marked side trails. Visitors can also enjoy horseback riding or hiking on developed trails. There are 100 miles of groomed snowmobile trails and many open areas for your exploring pleasure.

Cross-country travel by motorized vehicles is not allowed on the Fishlake National Forest and this map no longer adequately identifies routes open for motorized use. Please get the latest copy of the Motor Vehicle Use Map or the Travel Map to help plan your motorized recreation outing.

You may get information about purchasing the Fishlake Travel Map by contacting the Fishlake National Forest Supervisors Office.
