Duck Creek Visitor Center

The Duck Creek area is a popular recreation near the top of Cedar Mountain, west of Cedar City, Utah. Duck Creek is reached by travelling east from Cedar City on Highway U-14. This scenic route also provides a link between Cedar City and Highway 89, a popular route to many National Parks, Monuments, and other attractions.

OPERATING HOURS:

The visitor center is open 7 days a week from 10:00 to 5:00 pm from the last weekend in May through the September 8, 2008. During the month of September, the Visitor Center is open on weekends only. The Visitor Center is scheduled to close for the winter season on September 21, 2008.

SERVICES:

The Duck Creek Visitor Center provides visitor information such as literature and maps (free and for sale), puzzles, books, Smokey The Bear clothing and souveniers. Fuelwood permits are also sold at this location.
