Posy Lake Campground
Posy Lake Campground is about 16 miles north of Escalante, on Pine Creek Road (#153), a gravel surface road. Pine Creek Road is a designated Utah State Scenic Backway. The campground is on the south side of Posy Lake, a small fishing lake surrounded by mixed conifer and aspen forest. There is no garbage service. Please - Pack It In Pack It Out.

8,600 feet
FACILITIES:
-22 units - auto/tent and trailer units - sites can accommodate trailers up to 24 feet in length
-One group site with capacity up to 50 people
-Drinking water near each site
-Fire pits
-Vault toilets
-Fish cleaning station
-Separate day use area with picnic tables, drinking water, dock and vault toilet
OPERATING SEASON:
The primary camping season is from May 19 through September 9, 2008.
FEE:
$8.00 per night. $35.00 per night for group area. No charge for day use area.

-Trailhead - Posy Lake Trail, Great Western Trail
