Panguitch Lake North Campground

Panguitch Lake North Campground offers visitors a slower pace and cooler temperatures. Enjoy boating, lake fishing for rainbow, brown, and brook trout, fly fishing, mountain biking and hiking at Panguitch Lake. The lake is located 1/2 mile from the campground. Commercial boat rental and launching facilities are available, as well as lodging, groceries, and gasoline. Winter activities at Panguitch Lake include ice fishing and snowmobiling. The campground is not open during the winter months.

LOCATION:
16 miles southwest of Panguitch, Utah on Highway 143;
or 50 miles northeast of Cedar City, Utah

- Camping - 39 single units, 8 double units, 3 group camping units
- 2 group camping units that will accommodate
4 vehicles and up to 50 people
- 1 group picnic unit that will accommodate
15 vehicles and up to 150 people
- Culinary water from a deep well piped to the campground
- Fire ring and table at each unit
- Firewood available for sale by concessionaire
- 3 flush toilets
- Asphalt roads

- Accommodates RV's up to 35 feet in length

- Panguitch lake is one-half mile from the campground with excellent fishing and boating opportunities
- Lodging, groceries, gasoline and other commercial facilities are located around the lake

OPERATING SEASON:
The primary camping season runs from May 14, 2009 through September 20, 2009 with water and campground host available (weather permitting)
ATV POLICY:
ATV's will not be allowed to operate inside the campground. ATV's may be unloaded from trailers (toy haulers) for camping purposes only, but may not be operated anywhere in the campground. ATV's may be trailered into and out of the campground.
