King Creek Group Area

The King Creek Group Area is situated in ponderosa pine, adjacent to Tropic Reservoir and the East Fork of the Sevier River. It is located about 7 miles south of Utah State Highway 12, and west of Bryce Canyon National Park. Access is provided by an unimproved gravel road. The King Creek Group Area is isolated from the main King Creek Campground, providing solitude and privacy making it ideal for family reunions, retreats, youth camps, and other large group gatherings. ATVs are being allowed on a trial basis on roads and spurs. However, users are reminded to drive slowly, stay on roads and respect the rights of other campers and forest users. There are many recreational opportunities near this campground including hiking, ATV riding, sightseeing, fishing, wildlife viewing, and boating.
