New Cabin Rental Proposal - The Dixie National Forest is proposing to offer the historic Pine Valley Guard Station for rent to the public on a year round, daily basis.

The Recreation Enhancement Act requires any new recreation fee to be available for public review and approval by a Resource Advisory Committee (RAC). Most national forest system lands are open, free of charge for your use and enjoyment. Entrance and user fees may be charged at some areas.

ENTRANCE FEES are required for entering designated federal recreation areas such as National Parks and National Monuments. Entrance fees can be paid each time you visit a forest or grassland, or you can use a special pass, such as the America the Beautiful - National Parks and Federal Lands Recreation Pass. Forest Recreation Rules and Regulations

Please note: Motorized travel off of existing roads in and around the Navajo Lake area is not allowed and will be enforced. This entire area is restricted to travel on designated routes only.

As a visitor to the National Forest you are asked to follow certain rules designated to protect the forests and the natural environment, to ensure the heath and safety of visitors, and to promote pleasant and rewarding outdoor recreation experiences for all visitors. Forest officers are required to enforce Federal Regulations so please take time to read and understand them.
