CampsitesTo reduce impacts to soils, vegetation, wildlife and other visitors and prevent water pollution:
RefuseTo keep the Wilderness clean and refuse free:
CampfiresTo preserve scarce alpine vegetation and preserve standing live and dead trees:
Livestock UseTo reduce impacts from livestock use in the Wilderness and prevent the spread of noxious weeds:
Motorized/mechanized equipmentPrimitive tools and means of travel are basic to the Wilderness experience. Possessing or using a motor vehicle, motorboat or motorized equipment is prohibited
WildlifeThe use of salt for attracting wildlife is prohibited. Pinedale Ranger District |
