Forest Responses to Citizen’s Petition

On March 30, 2009, the Santa Fe National Forest Supervisor received a “Citizen’s Petition for nondiscretionary closure of selected routes in the Jemez Ranger District owing to considerable adverse effects from all motorized vehicles.” There was also an inquiry from Secretary of Environment Ron Curry.
