Public Involvement

The Santa Fe National Forest’s Proposed Action for Managing Motorized Travel proposes a system of roads, trails, and areas for motorized vehicle use by vehicle class and time of year that could affect you. Get involved by familiarizing yourself with the process, attending a community/public meeting, and commenting on the Forest’s Proposed Action for Managing Motorized Travel.

Attend a Community/Public Scoping Meeting

There are no public meetings currently scheduled. Additional meetings will held in various communities in/or around the Santa Fe National Forest when the draft environmental impact statement (DEIS) is released around the end of 2009.
