Description:

This exceptionally steep trail connects El Porvenir and Blue Bell Trails. The junction with the Polvenir Canyon Trail may be difficult to find. The trail climbs straight up 800 feet in a half mile without the benefit of switchbacks or turns.

 

Notes:

This trail is in the Pecos Wilderness. Motorized equipment and mechanized transportation, including mountain bikes, hunter carts, and chainsaws are prohibited.

 

Warning:

The trail is rocky, and can be difficult to descend without sliding.
