San Antonio Campground

CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS

Location: Two miles north of La Cueva on Highway 126

Access: From the Jemez Ranger Station go 7.5 miles to the junction of State Road 126 at La Cueva. Turn left at the stop sign and follow State Road 126 approximately two miles to campground turnoff.

Uses: Picnicking, fishing, hiking, and camping

Fee: $10.00 per vehicle per night

Facilities:

bullet47 units with fire grills and tables

bulletChemical and pit toilets

bulletDrinking water

bulletCentralized refuse receptacles

bulletPaved access and parking

bulletCampground host on duty most weekends

bulletUnits accessible to people with disabilities at north end

bullet9 units for group gatherings at south end

bulletTents, RVs, and trailers up to 35 feet at some units

bulletNo utility hookups or dump station

 

 

Notes:

bulletElevation at the campground is 7750 feet.

bulletThe north end has eight parking spoaces, asphalt ramps and walkways, 10 picnic tables with seats on one side, eight grills, and two fire rings. This area may be used by people with disabilities because of the hard surface trails and fishing pads.

bulletCommercial faciilites are within two miles including grocery/gas, pay phone, cafe and tavern.

bulletThere is a 14-day stay limit on all campgrounds.

bulletPets must always be on a leash or restrained while in developed areas.
