Trail 435 Anastacio Trail

Elevation: 10,000 feet
Trail Access: Travel north from Cuba Ranger Station on State Highway 55 and 44 for a distance of 1.6 miles. Turn right at the cattleguard on Forest Road 95. Go passed second cattleguard one and-a-half miles. At the fork take a left, pavement will end, stay on dirt road until you get to the sign that says “Los Pinos Trailhead.” Turn right and continue for three miles to the trailhead


Description:

This interior trail connects the Los Pinos Trail with the Vacas Trail at about 2.6 miles. The trail is along Anastacio Creek with the trail occasionally entering spruce type.

 

Notes:

No motor vehicles or motorized equipment in the wilderness area.
