Trail 30 Rio Gallina Trail Pack and SaddleHiking
Difficulty: Difficult  Length: 4 miles  Use: Light
Location: This trail travels through mixed conifer and aspen forest with some scenic meadows interspersed.
Trail 31 Rio Capulin Trail Pack and SaddleHiking
Difficulty: Difficult  Length: 6 miles  Use: Moderate
Location: This trail is a steep climb until it's junction with Trail 30.
Trail 82 Cañones Creek Trail Pack and SaddleHiking
Difficulty: Difficult  Length: 8 miles  Use: Moderate
Location: This trail is the longest trail in the Coyote District.
Forest Road 93 Upper Rio Puerco Road Pack and SaddleHiking
Difficulty: Difficult  Length: 4.5 miles  Use:
Location: This road travels through heavy spruce and fir timber stands with some aspen groves in some areas.
Forest Road 151 Rio Chama Canyon Road Pack and SaddleHiking

Location: This road travels through a wide valley with spectacular red cliffs on both sides of the canyon walls.

Location: This trail begins at the south side of the Rio Chama and into the Wilderness.
Forest Road 317 to 100 Mesa Laguna Route Pack and SaddleHiking
Difficulty: Difficult  Length: 12 miles  Use: Moderate
Location: Spectacular views of aspen are encountered along the route.
Forest Road 385 Rio Puerco Trail Pack and SaddleHiking
Difficulty: Difficult  Length: 5 miles  Use: Light
Location: This trail provides a steep access into the San Pedro Parks Wilderness
Trail 452 Corralitos Creek

Difficulty: Difficult  Length: 3 miles  Use: Moderate
Location: This trail crosses some heavy timber stands of spruce, fir and aspen with some occasional meadows.
Forest Road 474 Berry's Road

Location: This area has many scenic views of the red cliffs and the Rio Chama.

Cañones Creek Fishing

Location: From Highway 96 take Forest Road 100 for 12 miles and then take Forest Road 99 for five miles to the Cerro Pavo for trailhead 82 into the creek
Coyote Creek Fishing
Seasons of Use: Spring-Fall
Location: From Highway 96 take Forest Road 316 for seven miles. Coyote Creek flows along Forest Road 316 and 317
Rio Gallina Fishing
Seasons of Use: Spring-Fall
Location: From Highway 96 take Forest Road 76 south four miles

Teakettle Rock Viewing
Description: Rock formation in the shape of a tea kettle
Location: 18 miles south from Forest Road 103 from Highway 96
