Access: From Highway 96 take Forest Road 103 to the Rio Puerco Campground. The river flows west to east. Rio Puerco Campground, photo
Uses: Camping, picnicking, fishing

bulletWater flow is low. No boating allowed.

There are two kinds of campgrounds: developed and semi-developed. Developed campgrounds have water faucets, toilets, and garbage pickup. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire grate and fees are collected. Semi-developed campgrounds usually have toilets, fire rings and parking, but no designated campsites.
