The Santa Fe National Forest proposes to install improvements at some of the Campgrounds located on the districts of Pecos/ Las Vegas, Cuba and Coyote. These actions will help the forest manage these campgrounds and improve the recreation experience of forest visitors.
In addition to the proposed action, the Forest Service also evaluated a No Action alternative where there is no change to the facilities in these campground areas. Based upon the effects of the alternatives, the responsible official will decide whether or not to install the improvements listed in the Proposed Action and where. No issues were identified during the preliminary scoping process.  Only the proposed action and the No Action were evaluated by the Forest Service.
