Jemez Falls Campground

Location: Six miles east of La Cueva on State Highway 4
Access: From the Jemez Ranger Station go 7.5 miles to the junction of State Road 4 and 126 at La Cueva. Continue on State Road 4 approximately six miles east to the campground turnoff on your right. From the turn-off, continue approximately one mile of paved road to campground.
Uses: Picnicking, fishing, hiking, and camping
Fee: $9.00 per vehicle per night
Facilities:

bullet52 units with fire grills and tables.

bulletDrinking water.

bulletCentralized refuse receptacles.

bulletPaved access and parking.

bulletNo utility hookups or dump stations.

bulletTents, RVs, and trailers up to 40 feet.

bulletCampground host on duty most weekends during high season.

bulletAmpitheater with universal access available.

 

Notes:

bulletElevation at the campground is 7880 feet.

bulletThe campground is adjacent to the East Fork of the Jemez River, and in close proximity to the Jemez Falls.

bulletDue to the width of the road, no parking is allowed and RVS are discouraged along the paved road between the highway entrance and the Jemez Falls Picnic Area and Trailhead.

bulletThere is a 14-day stay limit on all campgrounds.

bulletPets must always be on a leash or restrained while in developed areas.
