2010 Fuelwood Permits Available December 18

PRESCOTT, AZ, December 15, 2009 - The Prescott National Forest will begin selling personal use fuelwood permits for 2010 on December 18, 2009. Permits will be sold Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 pm at all Prescott National Forest offices.

Permits are also available by mail. Permit requests and payment should be mailed to:

Fuelwood is $5 per cord, with a four-cord minimum and a 10-cord maximum per household per year; accepted payment will be cash or check only. A map of permitted cutting areas is included as part of the permit.
