| Dispersed
("Road-Side") Camping
|
Dispersed camping is defined
as camping on public lands away from developed recreation facilities
and offers a primitive camping experience. Please remember to
pack out what you pack in. You may walk
and pitch a tent anywhere on Lincoln National Forest lands.
You may drive to a road-side campsite no further than 300 feet from the
center-line of an open road as long as you are on US Forest Service
lands and are not within a Wilderness Area.
