Comments

The public scoping comment period ended July 14th, 2008. Comments received after July 14th will still be given consideration if they substantively address issues not covered by previous comments. However, comments received after July 14th will not be analyzed in formal comment scoping reports. New substantive comments may be submitted until publication of the draft environmental impact statement. Ongoing opportunities for public participation are described in the document, Next Steps in the Scoping Process for the Proposed Rosemont Copper Project.

Scoping Comments Currently Available to the Public

All comments received during the Scoping Comment Period are posted below. Most of the files below are scans of paper comments, which creates large electronic files. So, we apologize in advance for the amount of time required to download. If you have a slow Internet connection, you may request a free CD or DVD version of all the public comment files below by calling 520-388-8300, and we'll mail it out to you (one per address please).

Also, if you are looking for a particular submission inside the large pdf files below, note that they are generally scanned in date order. So, if you know how you submitted your comment -- email, fax, mail, etc. -- and if you know the approximate date, you should be able to locate any document. Also note that you cannot "search" for words within the scanned documents.
