Rosemont EIS Updates Now Available on Twitter

You can now use Twitter to follow development of the Rosemont Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). Updates will cover Interdisciplinary Team meetings, important NEPA process developments and milestones, as well as notifications about the release and publication of new documents online at the new Rosemont EIS website, www.RosemontEIS.us.

Simply follow @RosemontEIS to receive updates to your computer or to your cell phone. (NOTE: Twitter messages ("tweets") sent to your cell phone will be charged to you as text messages. The cost will vary depending on your wireless calling plan.)

New Rosemont EIS Website

A new official Rosemont Copper Project EIS website is available at www.RosemontEIS.us.

One of the goals for the new website is to make all Adobe Acrobat (pdf) documents currently available on this site available in HTML format on the new site. This will not only make downloads significantly faster (especially for dial-up users), it will also make site searches significantly more powerful. This means you can use the site search feature to find virtually any topic located in any online document, including newly uploaded technical reports and other important project documents.

The new site also contains a "beta" version of a "Scoping Comment Search" feature that allows users to parse through the database of over 20,000 scoping comments using simple search capabilities, including key word, subject category, and commenter name searches.

If you want to keep informed of updates to the new site, simply subscribe to the RSS feed.

Please visit the new site and send your comments or questions to info@RosemontEIS.us.
