Safford Ranger District

The Safford Ranger District is one of five districts on the Coronado National Forest.  The ranger station is located in the city of Safford, at 711 S. 14th Avenue. 

This district manages 4 mountain ranges; Galiuro, Pinaleño, Santa Teresa, and Winchester.  The Pinaleño Mountain range is the most utilized on the district. Here you will find all of our developed recreation areas.  Most of these areas are accessed from Highway 366.
